Overview

Cut into 1x4 sticks and mesh-mounted into a 12x12 sheet, Magnolia's herringbone mosaic brings the warm, creamy base and soft gold-tan veining of the CT70-CT74 collection to a dimensional wall pattern. The zigzag layout is already built into the mesh backing, so each sheet installs as a single unit rather than piece by piece. Finished in polished glazed porcelain, this mosaic is intended for walls and backsplashes rather than floors or countertops, and a 1/8" grout joint is recommended to keep the herringbone lines crisp.

Design Note

The herringbone pattern gives a backsplash or accent wall more visual movement than a straight-set tile, and the polished finish adds a layer of shine that catches light across each angled edge. Because the sheets are mesh-mounted, the pattern stays aligned from sheet to sheet, which matters most along a long backsplash run. Brushed brass or warm nickel fixtures continue Magnolia's gold undertone, while white or cream grout keeps the individual sticks from standing out too sharply.
