Overview

Mesh-mounted into a 12x12 sheet of 1x4 sticks, Dove's herringbone mosaic brings the cool gray base and silvery veining of the CT70-CT74 collection to a dimensional wall pattern. The polished glazed porcelain finish is built for walls and backsplashes, not floors or countertops, and the zigzag layout is pre-set into the mesh backing so each sheet goes up as a single unit. Dove carries a High (V3) shade variation rating, meaning the gray tone will shift noticeably from stick to stick, with a 1/8" grout joint recommended to keep the pattern clean.

Design Note

The angled lines of the herringbone pattern give Dove's silvery veining more direction across a wall than a straight-set layout would, which suits a contemporary kitchen or bathroom backsplash. Matte black or brushed nickel fixtures provide a clean contrast against the cool gray base. Pale blue or soft green paint on the surrounding wall tends to bring out the cooler undertones running through the veining.
