Overview
At 9x60, Alps lays out in long, wide planks that keep a floor's wood grain pattern reading clearly across a room, with fewer seams than a narrower plank would require. The embossed in register surface lines up texture with the printed grain, so the floor feels as authentic underfoot as it looks. Built on an 8.0mm Wood Polymer Composite core with Rigid Click construction, Alps installs without glue or nails, is 100% waterproof, and holds up in kitchens, bathrooms, and basements. An attached 1.0mm IXPE underlayment pad adds comfort and helps cut down on sound transfer, and SuperGuardX Technology reinforces the 20 mil wear layer and 100% virgin vinyl construction against scuffs and everyday foot traffic.
Design Note
Alps' pale, light tone works well in rooms with limited natural light, helping a smaller space feel more open. White or light gray walls keep the overall palette bright, while black or brushed nickel fixtures add just enough contrast to keep the room from feeling flat. Because the color reads so neutral, it also pairs easily with bolder furniture or rugs without competing for attention.
