Overview

Carbon is the darkest colorway in the CT70�CT74 range, built around a deep charcoal base with bright, contrasting white veining running through it. In 24x24, that contrast becomes a focal point across a floor, especially in rooms with generous natural or artificial light to offset the darker tone. The glazed porcelain body carries a High (V3) shade variation rating, meaning individual tiles will vary noticeably in pattern and tone. A 3/16" grout joint is recommended, with brick-joint overlap capped at 33 percent.

Design Note

Carbon works best in spaces designed to feel dramatic rather than understated, from a statement powder room floor to a moody kitchen island surround. Because the tile is not offered in a 6x18 wall size, it pairs most naturally with a plain painted wall or a contrasting lighter tile rather than a matching wall installation. Brass or warm gold fixtures stand out sharply against the charcoal base, while matte black hardware tends to recede into it.
