Daltile Lands Top Spot in Builder Survey

Daltile was voted #1 for the 18th year in a row in the Ceramic Tile category in the 2018 BUILDER Brand Use Study. As the industry-leading manufacturer of ceramic, porcelain, glass, and metal tiles as well as natural stone, large-format slab and countertop products, this is a heavily-weighted accolade for the brand. The annual survey, sponsored by BUILDER magazine, measures builders’ brand preferences across dozens of product categories over the last 20 years. Building professionals recognized Daltile above all other ceramic tile brands in the majority of aspects surveyed.

The BUILDER Brand Use Study is sponsored by Hanley Wood, publisher of BUILDER magazine, a trusted source for top builders, architects and other industry professionals. The survey is conducted by The Farnsworth Group, a leading industry market research firm and distributed by Hanley Wood to their subscribers identifying as “builders, builders- developers or general contractors.” Data was collected from November 2017 through January 2018 and precisely 956 qualified responses were recorded.
