Overview
Arctic White and Black Windmill is a 2X1 mosaic from the Keystones collection, pairing a crisp white rectangular field with small black accent squares in a classic windmill, also called pinwheel, pattern. The matte, unglazed porcelain surface gives it the slip resistance that's made Keystones a long-standing choice for floors, and the mesh-mounted sheet keeps the pattern aligned from one sheet to the next. Made in the USA.
Design Note
The windmill pattern has roots in traditional bath and entryway tile work, so it reads as a classic choice rather than a trend. Black grout makes the accent squares pop against the white field, while white or light gray grout lets the pattern recede into a quieter, more uniform texture. Because the surface is matte and unglazed, it holds up well on a bathroom or entry floor where a slicker finish would be a liability.
