In the 1940s, the founders of Dallas Ceramic Company had a vision for a tile distribution channel unlike any other in the industry. Today, Daltile has grown from a humble manufacturing center in Dallas, Texas to a nationwide resource that’s renowned for its customer service.
What makes Daltile different is our Sales Service Centers located across the nation, built with the needs of the local customer in mind. From the beginning, the idea was to make sure contractors and builders had a resource that offered them the products and services they needed, when they needed them – on a local level.
This focus on distribution and personalized service was revolutionary for the tile industry early on and continues to set the standard today. We have the largest distribution network in the industry with over 200 company-owned and operated Sales Service Centers, all dedicated to not only providing exceptional service, but also developing personal relationships with each and every customer.
Over the years, Daltile has expanded on the concept of the Sales Service Center with the creation of the Stone Showroom and Slab Yard and again with the Gallery Selection Center. These destinations provide support for local designers as they assist their clients in selecting tile and stone. And for the homeowner, these centers help take the intimidation out of the selection process.
Daltile produces and/or distributes millions of square feet of tile and natural stone each year due to the efforts of our dedicated team members at our Manufacturing Plants and Regional Distribution Centers.
