Waterjet utilizes high-pressure water to cut or etch your specified designs. It can be used to apply every type of design technique to all types of tile – from selected natural stones to porcelain tiles to ceramic tiles. For a special touch, materials such as brass, copper and wood can even be integrated into a design. Intricate patterns. Complex designs. Multiple materials. No problem. Waterjet Capabilities

• Etches any design into ceramic tile.

• Can be used on any size tile, from the largest to the smallest.

• Brings whole tile gradations together on a smooth curved plain using waterjet cutting.

• Utilizes high-pressure water (55,000 psi) with garnet to cut or etch your specified designs.

• Adds perspective and realistic dimension to any design.

• Integrates tile with other materials including brass, copper, aluminum, steel and wood.

• Utilizes precision cutting for detailed, intricate patterns or designs.

• Cuts channels for stripping whole tile into design and for inlaid lettering.

The Process

• Clients submit a CAD drawing, sketch or a rendition of a mural/logo/image.

• In-house artists create a computer sketch, match color and generate a rendering.

• Proof is submitted to client for approval. If necessary, a second proof is generated.

• Rendering is converted to CAD and programmed into Waterjet.

• Once assembled, your design is shipped with easy-to-follow instructions.
